Rachel is an award winning poet, a senior climate scientist at the Met Office in Exeter and the founder of ExCite Poetry, the largest Poetry Society regional group in the UK. Between 2013 and 2015 she was director of the Exeter Poetry Festival and is now its patron. Has been chosen by the Poet Laureate, Carol Ann Duffy, as signalling one of four of the newest and brightest names in British Poetry.
